Aquamarine is a beautiful, medium priced stone. It is wonderful in rings,
earrings, bracelets, pendants and more. It ranges in colors from icy blue to
green blue, light blue to blue-green and dark blue, and comes from the beryl
family of stones. The highest quality is transparent. it often becomes paler
if left out in the sun. It is usually heat treated and sometimes irradiated.
